GHRITA KUMARIKA (Aloe barbadensis):
Aloe vera is the most valuable ayurvedic herbal ingredient to prevent, cure and control psoriasis and psoriasis-related skin conditions. Aloe polysaccharide (APS) is the main macromolecule of Aloe vera, which contributes to anti psoriasis function. A research study goes like this according to a recent study, treatment with aloe led to a greater reduction in psoriasis severity when compared with a topical steroid cream. The study, which was presented at the International Congress of Dermatology in May 2009, involved 80 patients and has yet to be published in a peer-reviewed journal. Still, say the researchers, “Aloe vera can be considered a safe alternative treatment for mild to moderate chronic plaque psoriasis,” which is the most prevalent form of this bedeviling skin condition.
NIMBA (Azadirachtaindica):
NIMBA is another major ayurvedic ingredient in this formulation.NIMBA is rich in fatty acids like palmitic, linoleic, and oleic acids which promote healthy skin.NIMBA is rich in other plant compounds called flavonoids and polyphenols, which have antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties thus play a major role in psoriasis management.
TULASI (Ocimum sanctum):
TULASI is another major ingredient in SHINE &FAIR soap.TULASI rich in active constituents like camphor, eucalyptol, and eugenol works as a natural topical antimicrobial agent for the management of skin infections caused by these organisms there by reduces chances of secondary infections associated with psoriasis.
COW CURD EXTRACT:
This is another unique and special ingredient. This extract is made from curd made from A2 cow milk (pure Indian cow breed milk) extraction is made as per the traditional Kshherapaka process. Cow Curd extract goes deep into the skin and acts as natural moisturiser and prevents skin turning into dry and prevents scaling.
KARPOORATHRINA (Cymbopogonflexuosus):
KARPOORATHRINA is a very useful and effective Ayurvedic ingredient. It is rich in anti-oxidants and helps to neutralise free radicals otherwise which damage skin, apart from this this oil gives pleasant smell and soothing feeling.
